Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which Achieve processes refunds and cancellations for enrolments in our offline exam batch courses, admission programmes, and related services delivered at our authorised centres in Bangladesh.
By enrolling in any Achieve course or purchasing any service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Nature of Our Services
Achieve provides offline exam-preparation batch courses (HSC, admission, and similar programmes) conducted at physical branches. Each batch has a fixed schedule, limited seat capacity, and dedicated instructor allocation. Once a seat is reserved against your payment, that seat is no longer available to other candidates.
Cancellation by the Student
Before the batch start date: If you cancel your enrolment at least 7 (seven) days before the official batch start date, you are eligible for a refund of the course fee minus a 15% administrative and processing charge.
Within 7 days of the batch start date: Cancellations made within 7 days before the batch start date are eligible for a refund of 50% of the course fee, as instructor scheduling and study material preparation have already commenced.
After the batch has started: Once the first class of the batch has been conducted, the enrolment is considered fully consumed and no refund will be issued. This applies regardless of the number of classes attended thereafter.
Admission & registration fees: One-time admission, registration, and enrolment-processing fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Cancellation by Achieve
If a batch is cancelled by Achieve before it commences — due to insufficient enrolment, instructor unavailability, or any operational reason — students will be offered one of the following options:
1. A full refund of the course fee paid, or
2. Transfer of the paid amount to an alternative batch of equivalent value at the same or another authorised centre.
If Achieve discontinues a batch after it has started, a pro-rated refund will be issued based on the number of classes already conducted.
Batch Transfer
Subject to seat availability, students may request a one-time transfer to a different batch, branch, or programme before the original batch has started. Transfer requests made after the batch starts are at the sole discretion of Achieve and may incur an adjustment fee.
Study Materials & Physical Items
Printed study materials, books, mock-test papers, and admit cards once issued are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are produced and personalised on a per-student basis.
Digital & Online Components
For any digital content, recorded sessions, or online resources bundled with an offline batch, access is granted upon enrolment and is treated as consumed. No refund will be issued for the digital component once access credentials have been delivered.
Duplicate or Erroneous Payments
If you are charged more than once for the same enrolment or are charged in error, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction with your payment receipt. Verified duplicate or erroneous payments will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
Refund Process
To initiate a refund or cancellation, you must submit a written request to [email protected] from the email address used at enrolment, including your full name, enrolled batch, branch, payment reference number, and reason for cancellation.
Refund requests are reviewed within 2 (two) working days of receipt. Once a refund or return claim is approved, the refund is completed within 7 (seven) to 10 (ten) working days from the date the claim is submitted, and the amount is credited back to the original payment method used at enrolment (card, bank account, or mobile financial service such as bKash, Nagad, or Rocket).
This standard 7 to 10 working day timeline applies to all approved refunds and returns. If your bank, card issuer, or mobile financial service needs additional time to post the credit to your account, we will provide the refund reference number so you can track it with them.
A payment-gateway transaction charge deducted by the payment processor (SSLCommerz, bKash, Nagad, or card networks) is non-recoverable and will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
— Failure to attend classes without prior cancellation notice.
— Disciplinary removal from the batch due to violation of code of conduct.
— Loss of admit card, ID, or study materials due to student negligence.
— Inability to attend due to personal circumstances after the batch has started.
— Requests submitted beyond the timelines specified in this policy.
Disputes
Any dispute arising from a refund or cancellation request will be reviewed by the Achieve administration in good faith. Decisions made by Achieve following this review are final. Unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Policy Updates
Achieve reserves the right to revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and will apply to enrolments made after that date.
